At 8:58 am of August 7, the last 2B coke oven of Baosteel Zhanjiang Steel Coking Project successfully produced coke, which indicated the full completion of 4*65 ports coke oven system of Baosteel Zhanjiang Steel Coking Project.

　　Baosteel Zhanjiang Steel Base is located in Donghai Island, Zhanjiang City. It consists of newly-built 4x65 ports JNX2-70-2 reheating coke ovens, coal blending system, coke quenching system, flue gas desulfurization and denitrification system. Since November, 2013, it has taken 983 days.

　  This project has started the new undertaking of Baosteel. Baosteel Zhanjiang Steel Base is aimed at carbon steel plates market, which will promote the development of machinery, building, steel structure, building material, etc. It is an important project for Guangdong Province to make transformation and upgrading of industry.
