As for the newly-built two sintering machines (500m2) of Vietnam Ha Tinh Steel Sintering Plant (Phase 1), on April 9, 2016, the first sintering machine (#2) was ready for putting into production; on June 27, 2016, the second sintering machine (#1) entered the single-unit test. This indicated that another big sintering project constructed by China MCC5 was near to be fully completed.
   Vietnam Ha Tinh Steel Sintering Project is located in Yongan Economic Zone, Ha Tinh Province, Vietnam. The main construction scope includes
To build two sintering machines (500m2), mating with complete fuel crushing & sieving system, material blending system, sintered ore gradation system and sintered ore conveying system. This project is invested by Formosa Group, designed by MCC Changtian Design Institute, and constructed by China MCC5. Phase 1 has occupied about 18 hectares and the annual output of sintered ore is about 10 million ton. 
This project is a big project with high-level equipment & technology, and excellent energy-saving & environmental index. Because the sintering mainly use limonite, measures are taken to preheat sintering material before ignitionThick-layer sintering process is adopted to improve the quality of sintered ore; Hot waste gas recovery for rotary cooling machine is aim at energy-saving and environmental protection. This project has adopted dozens of MCC’s own patent and proprietary technologies, among which, some patent technologies (e.g. L2 sintering comprehensive control expert system, liquid seal rotary cooling machine, flexible driving, and segregation distribution have reached the world advanced level.
During the whole construction, the technical personnel of project department has continuously researched and created new technologies. The following patent technologies have been approved or are under application: “Welding Technology for Steel Silos Under High Moisture”, “Erection Method for Drum Mixer of Sintering Plant”, “500m2 Sintering Machine Erection Technology Study”, “Sintering Plant Main Electrostatic De-dusting Equipment Erection Technology Study”, “Sintering Plant 500m2 Rotary Cooling Machine Erection Technology Study”, etc. “Welding Technology for Steel Silos Under High Moisture”, “Construction Method for Sheet Piles Foundation Pit Shoring Under Alkali Environment of Sand Soil” and “Fabrication & Erection Method of Steel Silos of Sintering Project” have been awarded as the provincial construction methods.
   At the same timeChina MCC5 has undertaken the construction of buildings, structures, mechanical equipment erection, plumbing, electrical work, automation control, communication, ventilation and de-dusting of steel slag stabilization treatment line and crushing & magnetic separation treatment line of this project. This project has entered the completion acceptance stage.
