At 10: 38 am of June 16，actuated by the electronic touch ball button, Guangxi Stora Enso Pulp Paper Integration Project Beihai Factory officially produced paper. This indicates that Phase 1 of the biggest project utilizing foreign investment in Guangxi Province has been completed and put into production. This project was constructed by MCC5.
Mr. Cheng Bingqiang (Board Chairman and Party Secretary of MCC5) and Mr. Tian Shun ( Vice General Manager of China MCC5 Group Corp. Ltd. and General Manager of MCC5 Group Shanghai Corp. Ltd.) attended this launch ceremony on the site. The other leader who attended this launch ceremony are: Mr. Zhang Xiulong (Vice Chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region), Mr. Zhaiqian(commercial counselor of European Division of Ministry of Commerce), Mr. Boguana (Board Chairman of Stora Enso Group), Mr. Jiang Lanjian (Senior Vice President of Guangxi Stora Enso Group); Mrs. Elizabeth (Secretary General of Sweden Ministry of Enterprise and Creation)；Mr. Laurid (Swedish Ambassador to China)；Mr. Martie (Former Premier and Congressman of Finland)；Mrs. Ma Huanya (Holland’s Ambassador to China),etc.
This project is invested by Finland Stora Enso Company (Global Paper-Making Magnate) in Beihai, Guangxi Province. It is the biggest foreign Investment Project in Guangxi Province. The total investment is about 19.1 billion RMB. The annual production capacity is 900,000t bleached chemical pulp and 900,000t high grade packing card board. This project is divided into two phases, among which, phase 1 project includes 16 unit works. The annual output is predicted to be 450,000t liquid packing card board and high grade card board. Phase 1 is generally contracted by China MCC5 Group Corp. Ltd. It is divided into K025 package and K026 package. The main buildings are: wet combined paper mill, pulp board warehouse, finished products warehouse, steam engine room, clean water treatment, sewage treatment, electrical room of power station boiler, spare parts warehouse, maintenance room, guardroom, etc. The construction scale is 183,000m2, and the total built-up area is 122,000m2. The structural type is mainly cast-in-situ frame structure. There are four floors above ground. It has steel structure roof and some full steel structure workshop buildings.
This project was commenced from November 5, 2014. It was completed for acceptance on April 30, 2016；It started hot load test-run and successfully produced paper on May 26, 2016；It passed the as-built acceptance on June 3, 2016.
